1.) How can I help?
Just come along any Saturday morning! We meet every Saturday (exception to this are days of bad weather and bank holiday weekends) at 10.30 am outside the Douglas Community Centre. All equipment (gloves, pickers etc. will be provided). There’s no joining – so you are not committing to anything! We appreciate any help we get!

Please note: children under the age of 18 will need to be accompanied by a parent. You can find our Child Protection Policy here.

2.) Will I have to come every Saturday?
No, not at all! Come whenever you feel like it.

3.) Okay, so where’s the Community Centre?
The Community Center is located in the Douglas Community Park – see map below:

4.) I’m a transition year student and would like to volunteer
Great! Please get in touch with the Douglas Community Association (http://douglascommunity.ie/contact/) as they are organising the work of transition year students with our local caretakers.

5.) I’m a Gaisce award student and would like to volunteer
Fabulous!  You are more than welcome to work with us. Just come along  on our Saturday morning (see point 1) above) activities. And bring a buddy!
Alternatively, if you prefer to work during the week see point 4) above.

6.) I have more questions
No problem – there are many ways to contact us:  http://douglastidytowns.ie/contact-us/
